Julia was a fabulous Grandma and Mother-in-law. I was lucky to have such a good friend as a Mother-in-Law. Julia always listened, always gave a considered, thoughtful and practical answer.  With two growing kids, there was always something! But above all, Julia was selfless with her concern for her family, including me, when it came to life’s hardships. She was extremely brave, pragmatic and supportive.  
To me, she was a Girl’s Girl ; loyal and trustworthy. 
I will remember her most at Christmas, when she was always fun, laughing, supportive, fantastically outrageous at times, which impressed and enthralled her grandchildren. We shared a love for single malt Whisky, which we indulged in at any opportunity. Here’s to you Julia!  Lots of Love Liz xx 🥃
